Japan's geography is unlike anywhere else, a volcanic archipelago of nearly 7,000 islands, shaped by the tectonic collisions of the Ring of Fire, pushing the land into some of the most dramatic relief in the world. This piece captures that tension: the sharp spine of the Japanese Alps, the cone of Fuji rising in isolation, the dense coastal complexity of Kyushu and Shikoku, and the quieter, flatter spread of Hokkaido to the north.

Built from digital elevation models, each piece combines a 2D bathymetric poster with hand-assembled 3D relief, mounted together onto a rigid 2mm art board.

Designed for those drawn to Japanese culture, geography, and design, or anyone who wants a wall piece that rewards a closer look.

  • To remove dust, gently blow air across the map rather than wiping

All maps are shipped flat in custom protective packaging.
We currently ship within the EU only as well as the Faroe Islands & Iceland.

Returns
Due to the made-to-order and fragile nature of our products, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges.
